I'm very interested in BullHorn.

It acts like a CRM and an ATS combined.

We are using cBizone which is a good ATS...

check out www.fastrecruiting.net. proven in the field for hiring/tracking industrial workers, contractors and drivers. if you are using incoming phone calls to gather/screen applicants, fastrecruiting.net is pretty slick.

As a corporate contract recruiter I use whatever my client wants. Google make great software and had their own homegrown ATS. I just started at at Cisco and we use Virtual Edge here. For my own stash of candidates I use an old version of Act!

Currently using FileFinder from Dillistone systems. Great possibilities, but a lot of breakdowns and not enough US support yet.

Oddly enough, I really like Outlook best. You can use the categories function to add candidates to a particular search. You can add fields and then use that for status. You can build template emails and letters, run reports, use the calendar for reminders, etc. It's all linked up in one little package.

I use hiredesk in the executive search practice. In our volume (core-talent) recruitment business we use taleo "lite". We also have engagements where we interface with the clients ATS/RMS.

It took me awhile to find a software that would be compatible with MAC. Currently we are using CATS: www.catsone.com. It's very user-friendly, has almost everything you need as a recruiter and very affordable. It even has a free version, limited though. It's also linked to our career website so that we can track our applicants. CATS is a good tool for a 3d party recruiters, not corporate.

Being that I work for Vurv I am obviously a bit bias. Our software has an easy integration and pairs well with other HCM services.
We have our ATS and performance management software for small business in addition to our large enterprise corporate suite.
If anyone is interested in learning more please email me at blibertone@vurv.com
Thanks,
Bob
