Interviews 101

Hello everyone,

I am back and blogging again. I apologize for the long drop off the face of the planet. I accepted a new role a few months back as the Recruiting Manager for an executive search firm and have been focused on developing more business, growing my team, setting up procedures and on top of that moving into a new office. However, I am now planted and back and I would like to discuss interview techniques.

I often find myself coaching friends and family on how to really nail an interview and have boiled down my pep talk into a sentence to remember, "An interview is not a test your are trying to pass, it is a mind meld where you are presenting a solution to a companies problem." In an age where many people truly believe they are a unique snowflake and delicate flower the reality is you are a dime a dozen, so what about you and your brand will be the best solution to helping a company with their problem going forward?

I will keep this initial returning blog short, however I am happy to be back and will be contributing again on a weekly basis.
