Position : Sr. Associate - Core Java
CTC - 8 - 9 Lacs per annum
Job Location: Gurgaon
Experience: 4-8 years

Skills Required:
1. Skills required: Core Java technologies.
- Experience with NIO, JDBC, Multi-threading, Java 5
- Experience with message processing/streaming desirable
- Experience with performance tuning Java-based applications desirable
- Experience with JPROBE or JPROFILER, JUNIT a plus
- Database programming skills in Oracle a plus
- Experience with JMX a plus.

2. Proficient in UML, OOAD.

3. Ability to abstract detail into larger (repeatable) patterns, familiarity with user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques.

4. Experience providing a vision of the total solution, managing a track of work and defining a comprehensive solution leading toward a common vision.

5. Understanding of the project life cycle process.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:
Core Java ; *Multithreading ; Junit ; Algorithms-Recursion, sorting, merging, search, Messaging: JMS, topic, queue
Design pattern- understanding and application of design patterns
Data structures (tree, stack, queue, collections, list, linked list)
Serialization, object cloning, RMI, Understanding of Java 1.5 generics, annotations, Exception handling

J2EE ; Databases : ANSI SQL - Construct, Joins ; Databases: SQL Tuning, analytical functions ; Frameworks: must have worked on one of the ORM tools
spring/ hibernate/ top link ; Performance tuning and memory Management ; Garbage collection, heapsize, stacksize ; Presentation layers: JSP, servlets, struts, velocity ; EJB, Transaction Management
